Creating good content requires a dose of planning, thinking and contemplating. The reason why good content is expensive is because it takes time. So far I haven’t been selling content per se, but I’ve consulted businesses on creating it, and making sure that I am able to identify the topics that are worthy of the consumers attention, helpful enough to generate trust, and guiding enough to help guide the sales.
Good content requires effort, time and dedication. Whether you outsource it, build it “in-house” or hire a freelancer, it will always take up the resources. However due to its longevity, good content is a good investment with recurring returns.
Researching, Bundling & Promoting the content can soak up significant time and intellectual resources, hence having a valuable content strategy requires you to be mindful of the resources available, as well as be patient about the results, especially if you don’t have a community to leverage.
