Reeder is one of my favorite apps, as it gives me a stream of curated news. But despite the fact that I read a lot of media, one of the things I’ve noticed is that I am extremely resistant and stubborn when it comes to acceptance of any information as truthful.
My reality confirmation bias is getting stronger and stronger on this issue, so I just want to ensure that I somewhat keep the open mind that sometimes media could get it right. The fact to the matter is, they do get it right in the rare occasion when they accidentally align the truth and the narrative.
Reeder helps me in observing multiple narratives at the same time, and seeing how they clash, and construct a more complex world view. In social setting information is becoming a part of the reality. Sometimes what we think happened is in fact the reality.
