In general paid wall content makes sense in niche markets. Despite the fact that I enjoy reading world news, somehow I have a feeling of their content being propaganda material designed to manipulate the opinions. Growing up in Serbia certainly creates a very specific attitude towards the media.

Other than the content, the user-experience of the application completely misses the mark with all the advertising. The paywall is designed so you don’t need to go through the advertising.

Bottom Line

Once my monthly trial expires I will be shutting down the service. In the world of free information, disregard for user experience will cost you your user base.
