Move to Open Source and Ubuntu

Ubuntu as a default operating system doesn’t sound as scary as you would think. When I iron out some kinks, it will feel even more like home.
But there is something to be said about starting a new operating system. You get to deliberately choose how your new environment will look like.
In fact setting up new laptop gave me further ideas how I could restructure macOS as well. Not sure if I will pull the plug and go Linux first, but I’ve definitely been thinking about it.
