The more you share, the more connected you get. The more you share, the more vulnerable you are. In order to truly be valuable, you need to control what you’re sharing.
Just because it is easy to share, doesn’t mean you should share everything you think. Especially considering your own thoughts will change over time.
Being a successful blogger inevitably means that you are somewhat vulnerable, especially in regards to your job. If you want to blog about taboo topics, it makes situation even worse. The more your income is career independent, the more freedom you have to speak your mind.
Use your freedom in a clever way. Speak to small segments in a way they can understand. Not a single blogger will capture all the audiences. So just disclose what you absolutely need to if you are not independently wealthy.
However, at the end of the day, you will need to publish something, the good and the bad. You will never know what people will like, until you hit that publish button.
