#Chicago Water Tax
September 25. 2013 by Bojan
On my way home from the city (it was an awesome walk), I’ve dropped by to Walgreens to grab a batch of botteled waters. The price of the water is somewhere around 3$ (for 24 of them), yet taxes were almost 2 and a half $ for Chicago water tax. For a city that is on a lake, I don’t honestly understand how can you pay such a ridicolously high taxes.
I’ve returned the water out of the principle that I can honor by. Indiana is 3 blocks away, and they don’t have this silly water tax. Do you start to wonder when will they start taxing thin air here in Illinois ?
